2.Description:
To install the Overheat Warning Water Temperature Switch, locate it on the engine's cooling system, usually near the thermostat housing. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the switch from its mount. Fit the new switch in place, tighten it securely, and reconnect the electrical connector. Ensure all connections are tight and secure before filling the cooling system if drained. Test the switch by starting the engine and letting it warm up; the warning light should illuminate if the coolant temperature rises above safe limits.
